The KickBoom pedal is a homegrown, in-house product from Groundswell Design Work, designed by Loren Gulak. Loren has been drumming for over 30 years. He has performed and recorded with a diverse group of bands and musical genres: from reggae, funk, latin jazz and heavy metal, to kirtan. He has accompanied and traveled with Rhythmic Flow Yoga since 2004, offering workshops and music based retreats in Costa Rica, India, Jamaica, and Greece. Loren is also a product designer, sound engineer, photographer, and surfer. He also owned the Wilmington Yoga Center with his wife, Kristin Cooper for 14 years, where he operated as the marketing and business director for the business, managing several expansion projects and growing it to be the largest yoga center in the Southeast.
